Luxury Yachts For Sale By Owner offers owners of luxury yachts the ability for yacht sales directly to yacht buyers once they Register, with both free listings and featured listings and services, bypassing the traditional yacht broker along with the 10% brokerage fee. The benefit to yacht owners is that they can sell their yacht for much less than for other similar yachts and still net the same amount. Plus, because their yacht is priced much lower than the completion, they may be able to sell their yacht much quicker than through a yacht broker. For yacht buyers, they can purchase a yacht for much less than through a yacht broker. By using Luxury Yachts For Sale By Owner, both the yacht owner and yacht buyer come out ahead.
Yacht Sales Free Listings
The basic listing of yachts for sale on Luxury Yachts For Sale By Owner is free. There is no limit to how long the listing can be online, and it can be removed at any time. Only when a yacht is sold through our site does the owner pay modest 1% fee. And even then we will cover the legal fees for transfer of title up to US $1,000. The yacht owner has nothing to lose and everything to gain.
To help promote the sale of yachts by owners, we offer a number of featured listings and services to complement the free listing. Each of these featured ad listings and services offers the yacht owner additional exposure for their yacht and opportunities to place their luxury yacht in front of more potential buyers.
The following is a list of the ad featured listings available. To order these upgrades, simply click on the upgrade and you will be taken to a page where you can order the featured listing or service. When you have completed your upgrade, it will be available online within minutes.
Featured Ad Listings and Services on Luxury Yachts For Sale By Owner
- Premium Featured Listing with content. There is only one spot on the home page for the Premium Featured Listing (“PFL”) with content. The maximum number of Premium Featured Listings is 10, and they will rotate. The Premium Featured Listing is located on the prime top left position on the home page, with photo and content, and a link to the listing. Monthly fee.

- Gold Featured Listing with content. To the right of the PFL are two spots for the Gold Featured Listings (“GFLs”). The GFLs are located in the prime position at the top of the page immediately to the right of the PFL, and will feature a photo and a brief description (maximum 100 characters with spaces), along with a link to the listing. There will be a maximum of 20 ads per GFL ad position, and they will rotate. Monthly fee.

- Search Results Pages Featured Listings. The Search Results Pages (“SRPs”) Featured Listings will be located on the top of every search results page. There are only three SRPs Featured listings on each search results page, with a maximum of 20 ads in each position, and they will rotate. Monthly fee.

- Video Ads. We offer yacht sellers the ability to post a full motion video of their yacht with their listing. This video is priced based on the length of the video: under 5 minutes; and over 5 minutes but less than ten minutes, which is the maximum. Each video will be streamed from our server and viewed directly from the website. We will also post each video on YouTube, with a link back to the listing on our website. One-time fee.
Price: $295.00 under 5 minutes
$495.00 over 5 minutes, less than 10 minutes - Virtual Tours. A virtual tour is a series of photos viewed as a single photo, or tour. This is separate from individual photos which can be posted on the site without any additional fee. One-time fee.

- Single Yacht Website. We will have a few templates to choose from. By choosing this option, the website is created automatically from the information supplied in the yacht listing. This is a one-time fee, good for one year, and includes the domain name fee. Renewals for an additional year will be offered at the then current price.

- Single Page Brochure. This is a template brochure that will be automatically created from the information supplied from the ad posting. The yacht owner can download the brochure to print out, which will have the website contact information. One-time fee.
